In this article, I will be going over how well using OpenBSD as a VM host works and what things to expect if you do end up doing this.
In this article I go through my first time installing OpenBSD on actual hardware in preparation for having it become a nice VM host!
Some more relayd and httpd improvements (finally a dedicated ACME server), some plans and a new PC!
After posting my setup on Mastodon, I got some helpful comments that allowed me to improve upon the config a bit, making it much nicer!
I decided to get a new OpenBSD-based VPS and migrate all my websites to OpenBSD. The VPS acts as a load balancer and webserver. Connected to the VPS via WireGuard is an OpenBSD VM in my apartment. The loadbalancer balances between the webserver on the VPS and the one I have running at home.
